This helps me ensure that we are all on the same page and that I can offer the best quality of service and product for you!
How early should I order?
I recommend placing your order a minimum of 2-4 weeks in advance or as early as possible to secure a date and time. Most desserts take 3+ days to make plus additional time to source ingredients. Last minute rush orders may incur additional charges.
How do I confirm and pay for my order?
Once your have filled out the order request form, I will respond within 24-48 hours to finalize the details of your order. Once all the details have been approved, you will receive an invoice. Invoices must be paid at least 1 week before pick-up/delivery date to secure your order.
Pick up orders at Ayara Thai in Westchester between 11 AM - 10 PM. Please include your requested pick-up time in the inquiry form.

Where do I pick up my order?
Depending on availability, delivery service may be added for an additional fee. Please include your delivery address in the inquiry form to receive a delivery quote.

Do you deliver?
Cakes can be held outside of the refrigerator at room temperature for up to 4 hours as long as they are not in direct sunlight. If you need to refrigerate your cake, please make sure you have ample room inside of your refrigerator (8x8x8 inch cake box for 6” cakes and 12x12x12 inch cake box for 8” cakes, 18x14x5 inch box for half sheet cakes)
Cakes are best enjoyed 30 minutes - 1 hour out of the fridge.
For pastry and confection orders, you will be advised about specific storage instructions via email.
How do I store my desserts?
Where should I put the cake in my car?
The most secure spot for the cake is on the floor of the back seat, preferably behind the driver’s seat.
Ideally, leftover cake should be refrigerated and consumed within 2-3 days. Cakes may also be frozen for up to 2 months. I recommend freezing the cake in sliced portions so that later you can defrost only the amount you intend to serve. To store in the freezer, wrap each slice carefully in cling film and place in an airtight container or ziplock bag. To defrost, place the wrapped frozen slice in the refrigerator overnight or leave at room temperature for 2-4 hours.
How long do cakes stay fresh?
Yes! Depending on the time allocated for the order, I can assist you in developing a flavor that is not offered in my menu. Some changes will not be recommended and additional charges may apply for custom flavors and adjustments. Please inquire at info@pinchandpunchla.com for more info.
Can I request a custom flavor?
Are the flowers on the cake edible?
For the most part, the flowers I use on my cakes are purely decorative. Stems are wrapped in food-safe tape to protect the cake from any flower sap. The flowers should be removed completely before slicing and serving the cake. Please remove the stems carefully, as sometimes the flower tape can separate from the flower and remain inside the cake. By requesting flower decor, this is an acknowledgement that you understand the risk of having fresh flowers on your cake.
If you would like only edible flowers, please note so in “additional comments” on the order request form. Please understand that this may limit the visual aesthetics of the cake.
How do I get clean cuts from my cake?
TIPS FOR SUCCESS!
use a long, sharp knife - for cakes, a serrated knife or chef’s knife works well.
fill a pitcher with very hot water. Submerge the blade in the water to heat the knife, then wipe dry. After each slice, jiggle your knife around in the hot water to remove crumbs and wipe dry.
use two hands to guide and stabilize your knife.
make sure your knife is perpendicular to the cutting surface!
after a single smooth downward cut, pull the blade out towards you.
wider slices are easier to cut.
Cancellations made more than 7 days before order pick up will receive a 100% refund. For cancellations within 3-7 days of order pick up, 50% of the payment will be refunded. Orders may not be cancelled within 72 hours of the confirmed pick up date and time. If you wish to cancel, please notify via email at info@pinchandpunchla.com as soon as possible.
