Hello!

My name is Cathy Asapahu and I am the founder and chef at Pinch and Punch. Pinch and Punch is a Los Angeles based micro-bakery specializing in bespoke Asian inspired cakes, pastries, and confections, all carefully made using thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Each dessert is uniquely conceived drawing on experiences from my training in Los Angeles, New York, France, and Thailand, and utilizing techniques learned over a decade working in Michelin-recognized kitchens.

I take pride in supporting local farmers, sourcing craft and sustainably-produced ingredients, and offsetting sweetness with salty, acidic, spicy and even umami components.
